If you've received notifications of new messages through SMS or email but can't locate them in your Carbon Voice app, there are a couple of things to consider. First, try refreshing your inbox by pulling down on the Home screen within the app. If the conversation still doesn't appear, it's likely that the message was sent to an email address or phone number not registered to your Carbon Voice account.

To add an email address or phone number to your account:

  1. Home: From inside the app, go to Home.
  2. Profile Picture: Tap on your Profile Picture at the bottom left corner.
  3. Settings > Directory Services: Choose "Settings" and then proceed to "Directory Services.”
  4. Add Contact Methods: Here, you can add the email addresses or phone numbers where people might send you messages.
