When creating a Conversation in Carbon Voice you are given the option to create it as a Direct Message or as a Named Conversation. Both enable organizing conversations with a group of people but each have some different functionality to make collaboration easier. Read below to learn more about the difference and when to use each.
Direct Messages - Use Direct Message Conversations to reach a defined set of people that will not change over time and is always private.
Named Conversations - Use Named Conversations to organize around a topic, where the members may change over time. It has the option to make it Public or Findable in a Workspace to make it easy for new people to join and find existing Conversations.
